My home gaming rig bit the dust yesterday. It was a P4 2.8 Ghz Dell Optiplex GX280 and it succumbed to a blown capacitor on the motherboard. I found an identical computer on eBay last night and I won the auction with a $45.00 bid. Total with shipping is $87.50 and it should arrive here Thusday or Friday. Until then I am out of luck for gaming.

Talking about meat ...  I just found out that tofu is way better than meat when it comes to protein...

Tofu may rank #1 in protein but hows it rank in taste against meat?  In my opinion tofu ranks about 438th on the "flavor list".  Is right behind #437 - festering wound seepage and just ahead of #439 - Roadkill skunk sphincter.

You've angered them.  You must now offer them a sacrifice to appease them.  What are you willing to give?  You may also consider a substantial sacrifice to the spouse gods.  You will need their approval and blessing too.  Unfortunately the spouse gods are far less easy to appease than the shipping gods.  Then there are the labor gods to consider.  Their wrath can be great, and can wreak great havoc upon your gaming life.  They are nothing compared to the spouse gods but still a force to be reckoned with.

It seems that you will be investing a great deal of money into your sacrifces my friend.  This will of course anger the budget gods and in turn, the spouse gods again.

I've been attempting to appease them all day. I thought I was ahead with the shipping gods, but the sacrifice angered both the budget gods and the spouse gods. Both the budget and spouse gods apparently contacted the shipping gods and instructed them to ship the computer via ground delivery. Despite further attempts to appease the gods with gifts and sacrifices, the computer will not be delivered until Monday. As penance for my transgressions and to appease the spouse gods, they have decreed that next week will be spent "on vacation" at my parents. Further, as I have angered them greatly, there is only wireless Internet available.

You're right; I'm boned. . .I won't have a computer or internet connection for a week and a half.
