I'm afraid that Mr.Pink is right on this  . There will be no more Batman around our streets saving our day

THere must be an enormous black market for Batman toys, Super Soakers, and other such toys in Venezuela now.  Can you imagine buying little Johnny's birthday present out of the back of a rusty old van behind the supermarket?  

ROLF! But it's true, if we have a big black market for dollars I can't imagine how big is going to the black market for toys and games

I assume there is something funny going on here that eludes me...

Has Chavez banned Batman or something?

Yes.  Chavez has outlawed Batman and squirt guns.  Basically, Chavez has outlawed fun.  Oh yeah.  Violent video games are outlawed now and he is considering getting a copy of China's "Great Firewall".

We haven't seen Angus on TS is a couple of days.  I can only assume the Venezuela Secret Police have carted him away!  

Not yet! I'm entering in the black market of games, I just brought 2 games yersterday and the guy who sold it to me said:"here is your copy of windows 7 and office 2007". To avoid a secret agent of Chavez around... wait a sec...They aren't smart, so it's not posible! Their intelligence is equal to a chimpanzee after having a hard hit in the head

if Venezuela didn't have oil or was going against some political agenda the USA had then poor old Angus could be kidnapped by  Chávez and never seen again and no one would care at all....

I mean, I know Chavez is supposed to do some goofy stuff, but the rationale behind the Batman thing completely eludes me.

Why in the world would he ban Batman?  (I could at least understand why he would ban Superman for championing "Truth, Justice, and the American Way."

Because Batman it's a fighter man! his violent style to stop the criminal without killing them is the cause of his BAN!
